This spacious villa offers the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful retreat with Nerja’s vast array of amenities at hand reach. Inside, you’ll find comfortable furnishings in a classic Spanish style. La Exotica is a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Nerja (1.5 km), within a 5 minute drive from the bustling town of Nerja and its beautiful beaches.
Location and outside area
In the front of the house you'll find a lovely verandah with views out to Nerja and the Mediterranean—the ideal spot for a nice breakfast or an alfresco dinner. A few steps lead down to the sun terrace and the private pool (7m x 4m and 1.25m - 1.95m deep) with sun loungers. Adjacent to the house is a pretty garden with many plants, flowers, and citrus trees, together with a barbecue corner. For sightseeing, we would recommend exploring the area on foot, as this is a walkers' paradise. By car, the pretty white villages of the Axarquia and historic Granada are just a few of the excursions to be enjoyed. The villa has a private parking for one car.
Inside and lay-out
The villa has all the rooms on one floor and offers spacious accommodation with comfortable furnishings. There is a cosy living room with sofa and arm chairs centred around the open fireplace. Satellite-TV is available. A dining corner is separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar. The kitchen is well equipped with a 4 ringed gas-hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There are 3 spacious bedrooms (1 double and 2 twins), 1 full bathroom and 1 shower room.

Looking for a villa at a few steps from the beach and town centre? Imagine: step out the door, turn left, walk 80 m and... lay down on the beach! Alternatively, you may also sit down at a terrace for a cold sangria! It is all possible: this wonderful villa is located in calle Carabeo, in the very heart of Nerja. You will have your own private pool with a sun terrace while enjoying magnificent views out to the beach and the Mediterranean. Before you read on: this villa fits a maximum of 4 adults + 2 children. Location and outside area No rental car needed at this villa: it's only a 2 minute walk to restaurants, shops, tapa bars, and the beaches such as playas Carabeillo and Carabeo. Still the house does have its own private parking. In case you prefer visiting the highlights of Andalusia without driving, then you can book a guided excursion or take public transport from the bus station at 800 m from the villa. The villa is provided with a spacious terrace with sun loungers and a private pool (2.5 x 3.5 m). A large sun screen covers the dining area making it a perfect spot to enjoy a lunch in the shade; barbecue and patio furniture are provided. For families with children it will be good to know that there is also a shared pool (visible on one of the pictures) where the kids can make new friends. On the first floor is another sun terrace with the same splendid sea views, only accessible through the master bedroom. Notes: * The City Council of Nerja has the intention to cut Carabeo Street with a poller in the near future. At this moment we do not know if the street, and thus the parking, will be accessible for the guests, since there is a lack of information on the part of the City Council. The community of property owners is claiming that access will be granted but it is soon to know if this will be solved in a positive way. In case access to the parking of the villa finally would not be possible, then we nor the property owner can not be held responsible. Should this happen, then you can park your car at "Parking Carabeo", a very large parking lot just behind Calle Carabeo, at 3 minutes walk. There is a special price for 7 days (please ask us for approximate prices). * In the second week of October, lasting from 4 to 5 days, you will be able to attend the Feria de Nerja (Nerja fair). For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds in the centre of Nerja are covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). During the fair, you will find people (many ladies and some men in traditional flamenco outfit arriving on horse) partying and dancing "Sevillanas", drinking Jerez sherry, or manzanilla wine, and eating tapas. So, this is an attractive event, but it also has to consequences that may not be so attractive: The private parking next to the villa will not be available from a few days days before and during the fair because the calle Carabeo will not be accessible. If you bring a car, you can try to find a spot in the surroundings or we can offer you a free parking at Marina Turquesa apartments (at 1,5 km from the villa). You may suffer nuisance from the noise of fair (music etc). We estimate this will not affect you very much as the villa is at a prudent distance from the area, but we are not able to guarantee anything. Inside and lay-out The villa is built on two floors and comfortably furnished; the marble floors show the good taste of the designer. On the ground floor is a luminous living room with large LCD-TV, a dining-corner and a fire place. The kitchen is small but smartly furnished with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is in the utility room under the stairs. There is also a toilet on this floor. On the first floor you will find a spacious master bedroom with a large and private sun terrace. The second bedroom is a twin. The third bedroom on this floor is very small, with a bunk bed and no wardrobe —the reason why we find this bedroom more apt for two children. There is a full bathroom with an over bath shower, WC, bidet, and basin. The villa has air conditioning in the living room and 2 bedrooms. WiFi internet is available (free of charge).10 reviews

A very comfortable villa with a beautiful lawned garden A very comfortable villa with attractive gardens and a lovely barbecue area, offering sufficient privacy and tranquillity. Conveniently located, at only 2.2 km from Nerja’s Burriana beach, this villa meets all desires for a perfect holiday. Location and outside area The property is accessed by a private driveway leading down from the electronically operated gates. For your outside meals, there is a nice and shaded terrace adjacent to the villa; a barbecue is provided. Sun-lovers will enjoy the lawn that surrounds the tempting pool (8 m x 4 m; 1.2 m - 2 m deep) with sun loungers. The views over the avocado plantation out to the countryside and the hills surrounding Nerja are absolutely lovely. The villa is only a five minute drive (3 km) from Nerja whilst the Burriana beach is even shorter (2.2 km). Historic Granada, with its spectacular Alhambra palace, the medieval Albaicín district, shops, pretty squares, and palaces is well worth a visit and just a bit more than an hour drive. The pretty white villages of the Axarquia and the historic Nerja caves are only two of the numerous excursions to be enjoyed. Inside and lay-out With excellent furnishings and all rooms on the ground floor, this is a very comfortable villa. From the terrace, the front door opens on the comfortably furnished lounge and dining room. The large stone fireplace in the lounge will enhance your stay during the cooler months. There is also satellite TV and a radio/CD-player. A "breakfast bar" separates the dining area from the kitchen well equipped with a 4 ringed vitro hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and a washing machine. There are three bedrooms (one double and two twins) and two deluxe bathrooms. All rooms are provided with air conditioning/heating. A WiFi internet connection and a safebox are available (both free of charge).11 reviews

The pool was fantastic (no shallow end so be sure to take appropriate water aids if you have young children). The surrounding patios and gardens are beautifully maintained & provided a perfect mix of sun & shade at all times. Nigel particularly enjoyed being able to pick fresh lemons for cooking & his evening G&T!The villa is very well located for central Nerja (less than 10 minutes drive to the central parking areas), for Frigiliana (again a 10 minute drive), the Nerja caves & our visit to Granada (less than a 2 hour drive). The villa parking access looked daunting on our arrival but we soon got the hang of it! We enjoyed being just slightly out of the main town but still so centrally placed.We would certainly recommend this villa and hope to return soon.

Gardens are gorgeous and so colourful. Lovely place to sit and have a cool drink in the early evening. Very quiet and peaceful location. Kitchen has every appliance you could possibly want. We walked into Central Nerja (Balcon de Europa) each day and it took about 25 minutes - all downhill. Only walked back once as it is uphill and the weather was very hot for May. Would highly recommend this villa.

Our family and friends have just enjoyed a wonderful 16 night stay at the villa. The Villa is very well equipped and maintained. We all enjoyed a daily swim in the pool, and enjoyed many relaxing meals (including BBQ's) sat on the terrace looking ovesee more

The Villa is within easy walking distance of the Balcon in Nerja and the Lidl Supermarket. I would thoroughly recommend it!

The town centre is within a reasonable walk but would recommend a car especially if you have younger children or elderly guests with you. Nerja is a lovely town with plenty going on. Would recommend.

Wir hatten einen uneingeschränkt empfehlenswerten Aufenthalt in dieser sehr schönen Villa. Tolles, ruhiges und uneinsehbares Grundstück mit Blick in die Berge und auf das Meer. Bei sommerlichen Temperaturen haben wir vor allem den Pool und die Terassen genossen. Alles sehr sauber und in gutem Zustand. Die Zufahrt ist eng und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber eigener Stellplatz vorhanden. Sehr schöner Garten mit mediteraner Bepflanzung sowie Feigen, Zitronen und Khaki. Ruhige Umgebung. Nur das nächtliche Hundegebell aus dem Tal kann mal die Nachtruhe stören. Die Ausstattung der Räume ist einfach, aber sehr gemütlich. Saubere Bäder. Mehr Handtücher wären schön. Das spanische Vermieterehepaar ist sehr nett und freundlich, spricht aber nur Spanisch.
Ansonsten schöne Strände, nette Altstadt in Nerja, interessantes Hinterland (weißes Frigiliana,beschauliches Maro,Granada mit Alhambra). Auch Malaga ist sehenswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder. |
