My colleague Marta suggested me this villa, located in the centre of Nerja. She wanted to make a bet that this would become a very popular villa. In her opinion, our clients wouldn't mind to pay a bit more. But I had my doubts... the villa was and is not cheap, although the interior is of good quality. Finally, we were able to take something off the price and made it happen...
Location and outside area
And our clients love the villa! Think about it: how much valuable holiday time will you will save because you don’t have to drive your rental car to the beach, restaurants, supermarkets...? Restaurants are literally a few steps away from this villa and the beach is just a 200 m walk. Now, if you still wanted to bring your rental, that isn’t a problem either. The villa has its own private outdoor parking! Traffic noise? None. No street traffic is allowed except for you and the few neighbours who have parking at their house. Let me tell you a bit more about this special villa. On the ground floor, large window doors open onto a south facing sun terrace with sun loungers, a private pool, and amazing sea views. If you look down, you’ll see the beautiful Carabeillo beach, sandwiched between Burriana and Carabeo beach. You can now imagine why the terrace is a favourite spot for alfresco dining and that’s exactly why we decided to provide the villa with a barbecue. Now, please take a look at picture no. 2, first floor: do you see the private terrace and balcony? Those are accessible from 2 of the bedrooms—imagine, you can just wake up and walk out to those views. There is also some bad news: I'm afraid a coin will have to be tossed to decide whoever is going to take the 3rd bedroom... no terrace (sorry!). Now, let’s talk about the inside where we came across a surprise...
Notes:
* The City Council of Nerja has the intention to cut Carabeo Street with a poller in the near future. At this moment we do not know if the street, and thus the parking, will be accessible for the guests, since there is a lack of information on the part of the City Council. The community of property owners is claiming that access will be granted but it is soon to know if this will be solved in a positive way. In case access to the parking of the villa finally would not be possible, then we nor the property owner can not be held responsible. Should this happen, then you can park your car at "Parking Carabeo", a very large parking lot just behind Calle Carabeo, at 3 minutes walk. There is a special price for 7 days (please ask us for approximate prices).
* In the second week of October, lasting from 4 to 5 days, you will be able to attend the Feria de Nerja (Nerja fair). For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds in the centre of Nerja are covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). During the fair, you will find people (many ladies and some men in traditional flamenco outfit arriving on horse) partying and dancing "Sevillanas", drinking Jerez sherry, or manzanilla wine, and eating tapas. So, this is an attractive event, but it also has to consequences that may not be so attractive: The private parking next to the villa will not be available from a few days days before and during the fair because the calle Carabeo will not be accessible. If you bring a car, you can try to find a spot in the surroundings or we can offer you a free parking at Marina Turquesa apartments (at 1,5 km from the villa). You may suffer nuisance from the noise of fair (music etc). We estimate this will not affect you very much as the villa is at a prudent distance from the area, but we are not able to guarantee anything.
Inside and lay-out
When Marta showed me in, I was actually not pleasantly surprised. Yes, you read that well, I said NOT. The electric sun blinds were down and it was pitch dark inside. When I tried to turn on the lights, they didn’t work. It appears that the villa has a couple of spare light switches that are not connected to any light! But once we had the lights on and the sun blinds up... I was impressed! The first door I opened, right at the entrance, was a lavatory with chic dark-marble tiles. That set the tone for the rest of the villa, where you will find spacious rooms with an elegant decoration. The large living room is split in three parts and has satellite TV and a cosy corner with an open fireplace. Then, there is a dining room and a luxury kitchen that "has it all" : vitro hob, oven, a built-in contact grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine. Upstairs are the three bedrooms (2 twins + 1 double) each with their ensuite bath or shower room. The villa has air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom.
Notes:
- A WiFi Internet connection is available (free of charge).
- Air conditioning is available in the living room / kitchen and in 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two beds). The third bedroom is cooler since it doesn't catch the sun in the afternoon.

Alternatively, you may also sit down at a terrace for a cold sangria! It is all possible: this wonderful villa is located in calle Carabeo, in the very heart of Nerja. You will have your own private pool with a sun terrace while enjoying magnificent views out to the beach and the Mediterranean. Before you read on: this villa fits a maximum of 4 adults + 2 children. A large sun screen covers the dining area making it a perfect spot to enjoy a lunch in the shade; barbecue and patio furniture are provided. For families with children it will be good to know that there is also a shared pool (visible on one of the pictures) where the kids can make new friends. On the ground floor is a luminous living room with large LCD-TV, a dining-corner and a fire place. The kitchen is small but smartly furnished with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The washing machine is in the utility room under the stairs. There is also a toilet on this floor. On the first floor you will find a spacious master bedroom with a large and private sun terrace. The second bedroom is a twin. The third bedroom on this floor is very small, with a bunk bed and no wardrobe —the reason why we find this bedroom more apt for two children. A very comfortable villa with a beautiful lawned garden A very comfortable villa with attractive gardens and a lovely barbecue area, offering sufficient privacy and tranquillity. Conveniently located, at only 2.2 km from Nerja’s Burriana beach, this villa meets all desires for a perfect holiday. Location and outside area The property is accessed by a private driveway leading down from the electronically operated gates. For your outside meals, there is a nice and shaded terrace adjacent to the villa; a barbecue is provided. Sun-lovers will enjoy the lawn that surrounds the tempting pool (8 m x 4 m; 1.2 m - 2 m deep) with sun loungers. The views over the avocado plantation out to the countryside and the hills surrounding Nerja are absolutely lovely. The villa is only a five minute drive (3 km) from Nerja whilst the Burriana beach is even shorter (2.2 km). Historic Granada, with its spectacular Alhambra palace, the medieval Albaicín district, shops, pretty squares, and palaces is well worth a visit and just a bit more than an hour drive. The pretty white villages of the Axarquia and the historic Nerja caves are only two of the numerous excursions to be enjoyed. Inside and lay-out With excellent furnishings and all rooms on the ground floor, this is a very comfortable villa. From the terrace, the front door opens on the comfortably furnished lounge and dining room. The large stone fireplace in the lounge will enhance your stay during the cooler months. There is also satellite TV and a radio/CD-player. A "breakfast bar" separates the dining area from the kitchen well equipped with a 4 ringed vitro hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and a washing machine. There are three bedrooms (one double and two twins) and two deluxe bathrooms. All rooms are provided with air conditioning/heating. Breathtaking views and everything on your doorstep. Had such a great holiday, lovely villa and outside area with pool. Restaurants and shops all just a 2 minute walk. Easy check in and great communication ! Will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Ralph was a great host! We had some heat and hot water issues, but he wasn’t long in helping us solve the problems. Our location was AMAZING! Close to the beach, grocery stores, etc! I would highly recommend Ralph as a host!

An amazingly located villa, with unbeatable views. The only negative was no air con in the third bedroom, (and it was extremely hot when we were there) but we would definitely stay again. There were 5 adults and one child, and so much room for us allsee more

We had an amazing stay in Nerja, the villa is stunning and looks better than the pictures. Everything is in walking distance. Turn left you’re in the centre within a few minutes unless you stop for a drink on the way! Turn right and you’re on beach isee more
We had an amazing stay in Nerja, the villa is stunning and looks better than the pictures. Everything is in walking distance. Turn left you’re in the centre within a few minutes unless you stop for a drink on the way! Turn right and you’re on beach in 2 minutes, there is also a beach directly under the villa. Having the pool and the BBQ area was brilliant. There are lots of little local shops for groceries and the supermarkets are a few minutes’ drive away. The parking space outside the villa was perfect. We will be recommending this villa to all of our family and friends and look forward to returning in the near future.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa. What a superb setting, better than we had hoped for. A great location, just a few minutes walk into the old town and its bars and restaurants. Great outside space and amazing sea views towards the Balcon. Insee more

Great outside space and amazing sea views towards the Balcon. Inside is very spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen has all you might need. The bedrooms were comfortable and each had its own bathroom. The air conditioning was quiet and worked well. Ralph, at Casitas Select, was so helpful in organizing our transfers and also our car hire later in the week.

We practically lived outside under the awnings by the pool. The two larger bedrooms each had their own terrace and a large bath. Would definitely recommend this place for a great holiday in the sun.

We hebben het fantastisch gehad. Mooie villa, snelle service (we hadden een akkefietje met de boiler in een van de badkamers) en uiteraard een prachtig uitzicht. Ook lekker dat je de deur uitstapt en direct in het centrum bent. Overigens hadden we masee more

Ook lekker dat je de deur uitstapt en direct in het centrum bent. Overigens hadden we mazzel want villa 015 is de enige van dat complex waar ruimte is voor 2 auto's (als ze niet te groot zijn).Je hebt officieel namelijk de complete breedte van het pand tot je beschikking en dat is behoorlijk.
Wellicht is het wel handig in zo'n prachthuis te zorgen voor een internetverbinding. Nu moesten we steeds bij de Italiaan met wifi een drankje drinken. Ook gezellig uiteraard! Voorts lijkt het ons verstandig als de onderhoudsploeg even kijkt of alles het doet. Zo deden de staafmixer en enkele lampen het niet. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig von der Raumaufteilung. Es ist alles da, was man braucht um entspannt Urlaub zu machen. Herrlich ist die Terrasse, schöne gepflegte Möbel und man hat einen phantastischen Blick über das Meer auf den Balkon Europas. Ein grosee more
Das Haus ist sehr großzügig von der Raumaufteilung. Es ist alles da, was man braucht um entspannt Urlaub zu machen. Herrlich ist die Terrasse, schöne gepflegte Möbel und man hat einen phantastischen Blick über das Meer auf den Balkon Europas. Ein großes Plus ist die Lage des Hauses, mitten in der Altstadt mit einem privaten Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür in einem gesicherten Innenhof. Ohne Schlüssel ist der Bereich nicht zugänglich. das gibt ein herrliches Gefühl der Sicherheit. wir waren nur zu Viert, aber zu 6st hätte man auch kein Problem aufgrund der Geräumigkeit des Hauses. Wir haben den Urlaub dort in vollen Zügen genossen und würden es gern wieder mieten - absolut empfehlenswert.
