Wonderful place to relax and chill-out! At this superb cottage, the atmosphere is light and airy, with a front terrace and a barbecue for your meals outside. Beautifully located on a hillside, this Andalusian cottage boasts unforgettable views of the surrounding countryside and down to the sea. Comfortably furnished, this villa promises a relaxing holiday. Location and outside area Situated in a unique, elevated position, at 5.3 km from whitewashed Frigiliana, this casita offers incredible views. From Frigiliana, a mountain road leads north to the village of Torrox. After approximately 3 km, a winding paved track with some steep parts leads down to the property, giving it a private and exclusive ambiance (a car with a stronger motor is recommended). The house has a lovely sun terrace with white pebble stone details surrounding an inviting pool of 6x4 m and 1.50 – 1.80 m deep. In the front, there is a veranda terrace with splendid sea views. A built-in barbecue and sun loungers are provided. The area, especially the Sierra Tejeda (mountain range) to the north, is very popular for hikers and bird watchers. Horse riding is also one of the many activities you can practice nearby. For a day trip, there are many possibilities, such as the cities of Granada, Malaga or Ronda. The beaches of Nerja (12 km) are just a 15-minute drive away. Inside and lay-out The cottage is furnished in a rustic style with several decoration elements in blue and white. The property is practically laid out with a cozy open-plan living room that mixes with the dining area and kitchen. The living area comes with a wood burning stove, 2 sofas, and satellite TV with DVD player. The kitchen is smartly furnished with a dining table for 4 person, vitro hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, small electric oven and all kinds of kitchen utensils. The washing machine is placed in a utility room. There are a double and a twin bedroom, sharing a shower room with wash basin and WC. Notes: - A WiFi internet connection is available free of charge. - Air conditioning (cooling/heating) is available in the living room and double bedroom; it is optional at 40 EUR per week (to pay locally at your arrival).

A romantic Andalusian cottage with great views! It could not be more Andalusian. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and white/ocher walls emphasize the Southern Spanish roots of this charming and traditional cottage. It is perched on a hill of olive and avocado trees, overlooking the countryside and out to the Mediterranean. Peaceful and lovely, perfect for a relaxing and romantic holiday in the sun! Location and outside area The cottage has a very quiet, yet convenient location: 7 minutes by car from Frigiliana and only a 10 to 15-minute drive to Nerja and the beaches of the Costa del Sol. Malaga is less than an hour's drive away, and Granada only 90 minutes. Just as easy to reach are the beautiful and historical cities of Córdoba, Seville and Ronda. As you can observe on the pictures, the cottage is set amidst an olive grove and accessed by several steps from the parking area below. A splendid veranda with stunning views gives access to the property's living room. Just a few steps through the kitchen, and you are next to the pool, where you will enjoy full privacy. And again, you will find a lovely, traditional ambiance with a terrace of natural stones and terracotta tiles surrounding the private pool (6.6x4.6 m and 1.1 to 1.5 m deep with roman steps at the shallow end). Sun loungers are provided and a barbecue with patio furniture are ready for your alfresco meals. The pool terrace faces southwest down the valley and to the sea, a beautiful place to sit at night and watch a full moon or the stars. Birds are abundant throughout the year, a real joy for the birdwatchers. Wild mountain goats can sometimes be seen on the slopes above. Parents with small children should note that the steps up to the villa are quite steep. Inside and lay-out The cottage combines a peaceful and romantic ambiance with very Andalusian elements, such as beamed ceilings, traditional bricks, hand-made tiles and whitewashed walls. The open-plan living room is all in one space, with the dining corner and kitchen. The living area is equipped with 2 sofas, a wood-burning stove, a radio/cassette/CD player and satellite TV. The fully equipped kitchen has a 4-ring vitro hob, electric oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a washing machine. The bedrooms consist of 1 double and 1 twin, both with traditional ocher ceilings contrasting the whitewashed walls. The bathroom between the bedrooms is shared, and has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and washbasin. Both bedrooms have air conditioning (at no additional cost) and there is a fan in the living room. Note: A Wi-Fi Internet connection is available free of charge.
