A romantic Andalusian cottage with great views!
It could not be more Andalusian. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and white/ocher walls emphasize the Southern Spanish roots of this charming and traditional cottage. It is perched on a hill of olive and avocado trees, overlooking the countryside and out to the Mediterranean. Peaceful and lovely, perfect for a relaxing and romantic holiday in the sun!
Location and outside area
The cottage has a very quiet, yet convenient location: 7 minutes by car from Frigiliana and only a 10 to 15-minute drive to Nerja and the beaches of the Costa del Sol. Malaga is less than an hour's drive away, and Granada only 90 minutes. Just as easy to reach are the beautiful and historical cities of Córdoba, Seville and Ronda.
As you can observe on the pictures, the cottage is set amidst an olive grove and accessed by several steps from the parking area below. A splendid veranda with stunning views gives access to the property's living room. Just a few steps through the kitchen, and you are next to the pool, where you will enjoy full privacy. And again, you will find a lovely, traditional ambiance with a terrace of natural stones and terracotta tiles surrounding the private pool (6.6x4.6 m and 1.1 to 1.5 m deep with roman steps at the shallow end). Sun loungers are provided and a barbecue with patio furniture are ready for your alfresco meals. The pool terrace faces southwest down the valley and to the sea, a beautiful place to sit at night and watch a full moon or the stars. Birds are abundant throughout the year, a real joy for the birdwatchers. Wild mountain goats can sometimes be seen on the slopes above.
Parents with small children should note that the steps up to the villa are quite steep.

The cottage combines a peaceful and romantic ambiance with very Andalusian elements, such as beamed ceilings, traditional bricks, hand-made tiles and whitewashed walls. The open-plan living room is all in one space, with the dining corner and kitchen. The living area is equipped with 2 sofas, a wood-burning stove, a radio/cassette/CD player and satellite TV. The fully equipped kitchen has a 4-ring vitro hob, electric oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a washing machine. The bedrooms consist of 1 double and 1 twin, both with traditional ocher ceilings contrasting the whitewashed walls. The bathroom between the bedrooms is shared, and has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and washbasin.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning (at no additional cost) and there is a fan in the living room.

A peaceful retreat, ideal for a small family We love this small holiday home, set in a peaceful, rural area with fabulous views on the valley down to the sea. The covered patio provided with a barbecue offers you the perfect spot for alfresco dining. The private pool and comfortable amenities complete this delightful location. The white village of Frigiliana is nearby and its numerous tapa bars and restaurants strike a lively contrast with the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding countryside. Location and outside area The whitewashed houses of Frigiliana are only a short 10 minute drive away, whilst the beaches of the Mediterranean are close enough for a dip in the ocean (12 km). The villa is also well located for discovering the beautiful cities of Andalusia, like Granada, Málaga, and Antequera. Its beautiful terraces with sun and shade come with patio furniture and sun loungers. From here, you just need to extend your hand to pick an avocado from the adjacent grove. Don’t forget to bring your guacamole recipe! A bathroom downstairs is very convenient for those using the private pool (6.30m x 3.50m long and 1.7m - 2.0m deep). Inside and lay-out This traditional Andalusian holiday home is built on one level and well furnished, in a rustic style. The living area has dining and lounge furniture, an open fireplace, and satellite-TV. A brick arch gives entrance to the open-plan kitchen equipped with a 4 ringed gas hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and washing machine. The main bedroom sleeps 4 with a double bed and 2 single beds. The second bedroom is a twin. The house is provided with a shower room with WC, bidet, and basin. Although there are beds for 5 people, we find the house a better fit for 4 people—prices below are for 4 people. A supplement applies for a 5th person.

A beautiful house with many faces, furnished to a good standard. This attractive rustic-style property seems to have three different faces: the front garden with lawn looks very welcoming upon your arrival, whilst the pool area in the back offers a nice private corner for relaxing. Facing east, you’ll find a romantic veranda that enjoys splendid views to the mountains, up to the village, and down to the Mediterranean. WIFI internet connection provided! Location and outside area Located in the countryside at 3.5 km from Frigiliana, this villa provides a comfortable and peaceful retreat for a small family. The terraced garden includes a small lawn with a fishpond on the approach to the front door and is planted with flowers, shrubs, and fruit trees. The kidney-shaped pool (7x3 m) is on a private terrace with a pool shower, patio furniture, sun-loungers, and sunshades. The east facing veranda, directly accessed from the pool area and also through French doors from the living room, is the ideal spot for a siesta in the shade or for your barbecue dinners. The beaches of Nerja (7.5 km) are just a 10-15 minute drive away. Inside and lay-out With all rooms on the ground floor this villa has been very tastefully furnished and decorated in a rustic Andalusian style. The open-plan living area opens onto an ample kitchen up a small step from the living room with TV, music centre, and a log-burning stove for winter warmth. The house benefits of high ceilings throughout, so it always feels very spacious and airy in the heat of the summer. There are generous windows and French doors (with built-in mosquito nets) opening onto the shaded veranda. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with a 4 rings vitro hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, wine cooler fridge and a coffee machine. The washing machine is placed in a utility room. There are two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a shower room with WC and washbasin. We had a really nice week at the house just north of Frigiliana. The house itself was clean and cozy, with a great outdoor space with good layout (terrace and pool in close proximity), and had a calming authentic feel both inside and outside. The colsee more

The house itself was clean and cozy, with a great outdoor space with good layout (terrace and pool in close proximity), and had a calming authentic feel both inside and outside. The colour scheme was primarily natural stone, bricks + trees, flowers etc., with a wonderful lack of fake grass, white plastic furniture, etc. And AMAZING view in all directions. The drive to Frigiliana is a beautiful 10-12 minutes and the beach(es) front in Nerja 20-25 minutes. Beautiful beaches! The drive never became boring. We were greeted and communicated with Sergio (son of owners). Very nice and helpful guy! All in all, 10/10 will highly recommend!
