This lovely penthouse is located on Calle Huertos, in the centre of Nerja with the beach 5 minutes away on foot. Restaurants, supermarkets, tapas bars… all just a few steps away! On the roof terrace you will find your private chill-out area with a barbecue and a champagne bar—what else could you possibly wish for a perfect holiday?
Location and outside area
If you wish to give your car a holiday then keep reading. This penthouse occupies the full first floor of a townhouse on Calle Huertos, a quiet street with some traffic, but no loud bars or discotheques. The beaches (250 m) and the Balcón de Europa (400 m) are just 5 minutes away walking. From the first floor, stairs lead up to the roof terrace where your own private pool (5.8x2.8 m) awaits with an exterior shower room. A pergola provides comfortable and shaded seating. Imagine that you are swimming under the stars at night, enjoying an alfresco dinner of fresh fish on the barbecue, or inviting friends over for a champagne party. It’s all possible! Nevertheless, should you wish to discover the beautiful sights of Andalusia, then we recommend visiting the Alhambra Palace in Granada—guided tours are available in case you don’t want to drive. The city of Malaga is famous for its Picasso Museum and there is an overwhelming choice of tapas bars for those who’d like to sample local gastronomy. Not yet convinced? Let’s take a look inside…
Note: In the second week of October, lasting from 4 to 5 days, you will be able to attend the Feria de Nerja (Nerja fair). For the duration of the fair, the fairgrounds in the centre of Nerja are covered in rows of casetas (individual decorated marquee tents which are temporarily built on the fairground). During the fair, you will find people (many ladies and some men in traditional flamenco outfit arriving on horse) partying and dancing "Sevillanas", drinking Jerez sherry, or manzanilla wine, and eating tapas. So, this is an attractive event, but it also has to consequences that may not be so attractive: The fairgrounds are also used as a large parking lot (Parking Carabeo, price in 2021 was from 40 EUR to 55 EUR per week), and will not be available from a few days before and during the fair. If you bring a car, you can park at the underground "Plaza de España" parking. Also, you may suffer nuisance from the noise of fair (music etc). We estimate this will not affect you very much as there are buildings in between the area, but we are not able to guarantee anything.

The living/dining room has a relaxing ambiance with a leather sofa for 4 persons, a fireplace, coffee table, DVD, satellite-TV (flat screen 32”) and dining amenities for 6 persons. In the centre of the house, next to the kitchen, you have a small, charming courtyard with 2 armchairs, a small table, and a fountain trickling the hours away—a perfect place for a coffee or breakfast for 2. The kitchen itself is well equipped with a 4 ringed induction hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, and a washing machine. There are three bedrooms: two doubles and one twin. The bedrooms share a full bathroom with a jacuzzi, washbasin, and WC and also a shower room equipped with a hydro massage shower, a washbasin, and WC.

Ralph was very responsive from the start. Accomodation was like a proper family home with beautiful outside space on the roof terrace. Location was excellent but got a wee bit noisey in the mornings with delivery vans and mopeds ecoing in the small ssee more

Location was excellent but got a wee bit noisey in the mornings with delivery vans and mopeds ecoing in the small street. To combat this you could sleep in one of the two back bedrooms. Excellent bars and restaurants on our doorstep with the beach a 2 minute walk away. Facilities were all excellent as was the wi-fi. The apartment is so spacious and very well decorated. The inside courtyard was beautiful and the roof terrace amazing. Unfortunately the lovely small pool was in the shade and not used during our stay, due to the temperature at this time of year. All in all, a fantastic stay which I would highly reccomend.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying here, both Easter time. The apartment is so well located, close to the town centre and the beaches. There are bars, supermarkets and takeaways on the street (Calle Los Huertos) without even having to venture too far. Great Host (Ralph @ Casitas Select) and owner (Susie). 3 bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms (also toilet + shower on roof terrace), living room, kitchen, roof terrace and rooftop pool, inner courtyard, it really has everything! Just be aware, if you're a light sleeper and in the front bedroom, that there is a bit of street noise to around 1am, but not an issue in the rears. Highly recommended, you'll not be disappointed.

The penthouse apartment was great, excellent location, pretty much half way between Burriana beach and the Balcon Europa. Loads of convenience shops, restaurants, and anything else you would need. The street is reasonably busy at night and you do heasee more

The street is reasonably busy at night and you do hear some street noise, but it doesn't go on to late, and there's no really loud bars. The only small criticism is that the pool was so cold we couldn't really use it but it was October/November so it wasn't a major issue. All round lovely holiday and would recommend.

Space age shower took a while to work that out, could hear my friend squeal the first time she used it. 3 couples shared never felt over crowded. The inner courtyard was so pretty with its water feature. The roof top terrace was used every day. the pool was a bonus. I've already passed the link onto friends, and we will definitely book again.

The inside courtyard was perfect for early evening drinks (it was November so cooler outside) and the rooftop terrace and pool was just the best place to enjoy the sunshine. Dieses Apartment lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es liegt mitten in der Altstadt, nur 5 Minuten vom Strand und ca. 10 Minuten vom Zentrum (Balcon de Europa) entfernt. Der Wintergarten ist total gemütlich, die Dachterasse der Hammer. Und der Pool unschlagbar, es gibt sogar eine Massagedüse. Obwohl schon November, waren wir jeden Tag drin! Draußen ist man in wenigen Schritten in der bezaubernden Altstadt, für die Morgenbrötchen muss man nur über die Straße. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung war nett und völlig unkompliziert. Wenn wir was zum Meckern suchen wollen, finden wir nur den Straßenlärm am Tag und am Abend Essensgerüche aus dem Imbiss, der unten im Haus wohnt, aber der ""Donner-Kebap"" schmeckt so lecker wie er duftet.- Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub, wir kommen sicher wieder!

Wir haben zu fünft eine wundervolle Woche in Nerja verbracht und waren rundherum begeistert. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Wundervoll ist der kleine Innenhof für einen ersten morgendlichen Kaffee. Dassee more
Wir haben zu fünft eine wundervolle Woche in Nerja verbracht und waren rundherum begeistert. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Wundervoll ist der kleine Innenhof für einen ersten morgendlichen Kaffee. Das Frühstück konnten wir mehrmals auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen und die war einfach nur unglaublich schön. Mit gemütlicher überdachter Sitzecke und vier Liegestühlen lud sie zum Verweilen ein. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten sogar mitunter abends noch draußen sitzen. Das Essen vom indischen Imbiss im Erdgeschoss des Hauses schmeckte vorzüglich auf dem Dach. Der Pool wurde nur wenig genutzt, war doch noch etwas frisch. Der Ort Nerja ist sehr hübsch und lädt zum Bummeln ein. Der große Parkplatz (Wochenticket am Schalter kaufen) ist über einen Fußweg in einer Minute zu erreichen. Ausflüge zur Höhle, nach Frigliana, Granada, Gibraltar und Malaga sind allesamt sehr lohnenswert. Kurz: Ein Traumurlaub in einer Traumwohnung.
