Country house in Cordoba, Santaella

The old stable at this antique farm house is nowadays a magnificent wine cellar where you can pick out your favourite bottle! Looking out on the Cordoban countryside, you will enjoy its secluded, beautiful garden and private pool (9x5m) with lawn. Relax at the sun loungers and read that book you never finished reading! A shady pergola is a very suitable place for the outside meals, with a barbecue and open-air oven provided. The garden is separated from the house by a cul-de-sac road that used to be the access to the village in the old times. The property is located at only 800 metres from Santaella and 35 km from Cordoba.

The adorable former farm house dates from the year 1902 and is totally restored in its original state by the owner. Traditional and rustic materials with beamed ceilings and old farm implements to adorn the walls. The living room, the open kitchen and the bedrooms are all set one floor. The living room has open fireplace, an old table wooden dining table for 10 people, a sofa and a sofa-bed, radio and television. The kitchen this equipped with hob with 4 rings, microwaves, fridge/freezer, washing machine and the necessary furniture. All the bedrooms are decorated in traditional style with Andalusian colors. The master bedroom has double bed, another with 2 single beds and a third bedroom with 1 single bed. The bathroom is shared by the three bedrooms and it has WC, shower and basin. The lower floor used to be the stable and is serves nowadays as a wine cellar. You can just pick out the bottle of your preference and “drink now, pay later”. This arched cellar, with an open living room and radio-cd player, is a perfect setting to spend long nights drinking and talking with friends or family. Note: there is air conditioning in the living room and corridor that leads to the bedrooms. The influence of the cool air should be noticed in the bedrooms.
