Location and outside area

This unique summerhouse is located on the top of a hillside in the middle of a residential area in Cenes de la Vega. Situated just a few km away from the highway to Sierra Nevada (35 min. by car) and very near de highway to the coast (Motril and her wonderful beaches in less than an hour drive-away) and only 7 km away from the old Alhambra and the Albaicin, this is the ideal place to discover one of the richest and most interesting historical cities of south-Spain: Granada! From the entrance square to Cenes, we follow the path into the mountains that bring us to this wonderful summer-house, surrounded by peace and silence. With its 800 square metre allotment, divided over different outdoor spaces, terraces and gardens we guarantee you can truly enjoy pure country-life from sunrise till sunset. Here you can find a beautiful swimming pool (10m x 5m; roman stairs until 1,80m deep), barbeque, sun loungers, and romantic flower gardens. An intimate, peaceful place ideal for reading a good book, surrounded by idyllic natural scenery. On the ground floor, next to the swimming pool, you have a lunch-dining room with an additional kitchen and additional shower at your disposal, which offers you the freedom to stay outside and relax all day long, while you keep an eye on the children who are playing in the garden.

The city of Granada offers visitors numerous possibilities, like joining a guided tour through the picturesque corners of the old city and the Albaicin area (officially declared UNESCO World Heritage), visiting the famous Alhambra palace and its eye catching Generalife flower gardens (don’t forget to buy the tickets beforehand), going to a flamenco show, Arab baths and spa, or simply having a drink with some typical Andalucian tapas on a sunny terrace. Other magnificent family activities are visiting the attraction park Aquaola for an unforgettable day for the children or playing golf in Granada’s luxurious golf club Las Gabias (16 km).

Inside and lay-out

The owner and architect of this magnificent summer house, designed the house himself, including the hilly landscape of the terrain by dividing it in different levels which offers its guests excellent privacy. With its strategic orientation to the sun and its breath-taking view from high up in the mountains over the city Granada, this summer-house offers you 4 bedrooms, (2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms), all with magnificent views, and 4 bathrooms. You can find a variety of fully equipped garden terraces located on different floors around the house, on which to find shelter from the burning sun at any moment of the day.

BASEMENT (POOL LEVEL)
We can access this floor through the stairs in the living room or through some outdoor stairs. On the basement we find a living- dining room with 2 tables, 12 chairs, a 3p-sofa with chaise longue, a low table and satellite-TV. A fully equipped, open kitchen, with oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. A bathroom with a shower, washbasin and a toilet. All in all, this floor offers you everything you need to spend the whole day in the sun while the children are safely playing in the garden.

MEZZANINE FLOOR (1)
Just a few steps down from the ground floor, we find the main living room with high windows which let the sunlight illuminate this marvellous space and which give us access to an indoors garden terrace that offers us a spectacular view on the mountainous landscape and the beautiful, blue swimming pool. The living room, with its romantic decorative chimney and piano, counts with a 3p-sofa, a 2p-sofa, 2 armchairs, 2 poufs and a satellite TV.

GROUND FLOOR
On the ground floor we find the fully equipped main kitchen, with breakfast table and 4 chairs, vitro hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher (there isn’t any oven nor microwave). There is an extra room on this floor, with a sofa bed and TV, a bathroom with a shower and washbasin and toilet, a laundry room (with washing machine and iron board) with an exit to the terrace.

MEZZANINE FLOOR (2)
A few steps up from the ground floor we find 2 bedrooms: the main double bedroom and a single bedroom. The double bedroom is divided in 2 levels: one with a walk-in wardrobe and exit to a private terrace with a spectacular view on the hills, and the other part where the bed and bathroom is (with bath, washbasin, bidet, toilet etc.). In the single bedroom there is a wardrobe and desk at your disposal and again an exit to a terrace with the same amazing view on the beautiful mountains and landscape.

MEZZANINE FLOOR (3)
Getting up the stairs again, there is another individual bedroom with balcony with view on the mountains, and a fully equipped bathroom. (with bath, washbasin, bidet, toilet etc.) .

TOWER ROOM
In the upper part, the most intimate space in the house, we find a double bedroom with balcony from where we can enjoy breath-taking views on the valley of Genil and on the amazing city of Granada.

Notes:
- Free WiFi Internet available.
- The piece of grass that is visible on the photos, has recently been hit by a grass pest and now replaced by beautiful wooden decking. New pictures will follow as soon as possible.

Magnifique villa

Une magnifique villa située à à peine 20 minutes de Grenade. Elle est ultra spacieuse et pourrait aisément se partager pour deux petites familles (il y a même deux espaces cuisines). Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'espace extérieur aussi beau voire plus qu'en photo. La piscine est très grande est très bien entretenue. Elle est exposée au soleil. Un point très appréciable: la gentillesse des propriétaires!! Disponibles au besoin mais jamais intrusifs. Nous vous remercions vivement!!! Si l'on devait citer quelques bémols: il faudrait envisager d'équiper les chambres a l'airco ou au moins mettre des ventilateurs car il est difficile de dormir la nuit. La connexion wifi est à revoir. Enfin, la maison est propre mais les livres attirent la poussière. Il faudrait donc envisager d'améliorer cela pour les personnes asthmatiques. Je précise que ce sont vraiment des détails comparativement à l'excellent rapport qualité prix que représente cette maison!
