Location and outside area

The village of Palma del Río (5 km) is locally well known for its numerous orange groves growing excellent fruits. The rich sediments of the Guadalquivir river provide the rich soil for the citrus trees to produce succulent fruits. You will find plenty of these locally grown products at the market in the village. Garlic, onions, potatoes, and melons are also widely available. The village is located between the historical cities of Sevilla (79 km) and Córdoba (55 km), but, please, don’t miss the nearby cities of Ecija and Carmona. Outside, the villa offers spacious lawn with sun loungers and a large private pool (12x6 m; 0,90m - 2,40m deep). By the side of the pool, you will be able to enjoy wonderful alfresco dinners; a built-in barbecue and patio furniture are provided.

Inside and lay-out

With 240 m2, this is a spacious villa with plenty of space for the children to play. The entrance hall leads to a spacious and elegant living room with several comfortable sofas, an open fireplace, satellite TV, music equipment, and a DVD player. The living room continues into the dining room, which is equipped with large French windows that overlook and open onto the garden and the pool. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, and a breakfast table. There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. One of the double bedrooms has an en suite shower room with WC, basin and bidet, while the other bedrooms share a shower with washbasin, WC, and bidet. Ceiling fans and electric heaters are available in the bedrooms.

The master bedroom and living rooms have air conditioning.

Très bien

Séjour fort agréable. Maison et alentours calmes. Le jardin et la piscine sont formidables ainsi que le grand porche qui permet de s'abriter véritablement. Beaux volumes intérieurs, équipements complets et en bon état, très jolie entrée "andalouse". La petite ville de Palma del Río est très facile d'accès (bonne route) et tout à fait authentique ce qui permet une immersion loin des carrefours touristiques où l'anglais et les produits "spécial touristes" règnent en maîtres. Autre point appréciable: la restauration est bon marché. Seul bémol: la literie qui mériterait d'être changée, notamment dans la chambre principale. Une suggestion pour l'esthétique: le porche gagnerait à être repeint en couleur (rouge assez foncé comme on le voit souvent dans la région) et ce serait le top si la partie basse des murs étaient ornés d'azulejos! Mais le changement de couleur serait déjà un petit plus facile à atteindre.

[Réponse du propriétaire ] : Je vous remercie de vos aimables commentaires au sujet de notre maison. Vous avez été de bons hôtes, très sympathiques, qui avez laissé la maison propre et bien rangée. Je suis désolé que la literie n’ait pas été à votre goût. Il est vrai que les matelas peuvent sembler durs si vous êtes habitué à dormir sur une surface molle. Les matelas ont moins de cinq ans, cependant, certains sommiers sont plus vieux, raison pour laquelle on profitera pour les changer bientôt. Je serai heureux de vous accueillir à une autre occasion et je vous souhaite une bonne continuation.
